Trikotaza "Pelister" was established in 1923 and it is an export oriented company, specialized in cotton knitwear.
Located in Bitola, 18 km from the Greek border, 160 km from the Skopje airport, the factory has a total area of 6. 000 square meters with 400 employees. It has a completely rounded production process from yarn to a final product.
The capacity of the knitting section is 50 tons of yarn monthly in many different types of knitts, but the basic are: interlock 200 grams, single jersey 145 to 190 grams, finerib 1: 1 160 to 190 grams, 2: 2 rib 190 to 220 grams, fleeze 200 to 400 grams e. T. C. The pattern structure can be of 100% cotton or mixed cotton and synthetic fibres: lurex, polyamide, polyester. We also produce viscose and lycra combinations. The Mayer and Albi circular knitting machines are equipped with Lycra attachments.
The capacity of the dyeing section is cca 50 ton per month. It is equiped with Thies dyeing machine. A complete range of atmospheric type and high temperature version dyeing machines allow the dyeing section to handle 100% cotton, mixed cotton and synthetic fibres e. T. C. According to the ECO standards. We are always using reactive dyes and peroxide bleaching. The finishing line is complete Santex line (drying and ironing) , Bruckner spanoram and fleezebrushing machine.
The total capacity per year is 600 tons of yarn or 3. 000. 000 product units.
Production process includes: knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, ironing and packing section.
