My name is Dan Powers; I am the Chief Operations Officer for SEMS, Inc. A spin-off of G. E. We design and manufacture Pinhole Detectors and X-Ray thickness gauges for 150 metal processors in 28 countries globally and 21 states in the U. S. We insure that the material used in production is free from pinholes and other perforation-flaws. Virtually every canning entity needs something to perform this function!
We at SEMS, Inc. , have proven solutions for discovering pinholes and flaws in material before money is spent on subsequent processing, or worse yet; product is shipped that is contaminated because of flaws in the packaging material. Both of these can affect your bottom line negatively, and perhaps even your corporate image.
Our equipment can find a. 001 hole in metal moving at 5, 000 feet per minute, and direct it away from good material. Then you can analyze the defect and charge your supplier back for defective material, actually insuring you get what you paid for; saving money everywhere!
Our new Series-II pinhole detectors are very capable, extremely sensitive detectors that can fit into almost any situation or even into continuous, cut-to-length or slitting applications.
