- Guarna Assanti Extra virgin Olive Oil originates in Gulf of Squillace which lies in the southern Italian coastal region of Calabria, an area which is renowned for its beauty. The area has a long history and dates back to the Ancient Greeks and Romans.
The Guarna Assanti. family established themselves in this area, where they cultivated mainly mulberry and olive trees and have been producing this superior Extra Virgin Olive Oil since the 1500s
Guarna Assanti Extra virgin Olive Oil comes from a single plant variety which is that of the Carolea variety.
When the olives are still green, they are immediately taken for grinding, ensuring that the temperature never exceeds twentyfive degrees, this method is known as cold extraction.
Guarna Assanti Olive Oil is not filtered, it has an aroma of green fruits and it presents a touch of fresh herbs which is a medium bitter hot, both considered excellent qualities in the word of Extra Virgin Olive Oils.
