- Walter Cross is a general trading and Export Company specializing in the sourcing, processing and exportation of unprocessed and semi processed agricultural commodities from Nigeria and West Africa to buyers worldwide.
Walter Cross started in 2000 as a business entity involved primarily in the procurement and trading of agricultural commodities from local suppliers on behalf of major exporters.
Its growth from inception is inextricably linked to its span of of contacts from source farmers, logistic companies and export contacts coupled with an understanding of the buyers need for the supply of high quality commodities.
The increased complexity of its business structure warranted a reorganization and formal incorporation as a limited liability company in 2012. Our structure is organized to ensure seamless service from your initial enquiry to delivery of commodities at your preferred point of discharge.
Our practice is to utilize well-trained personnel to supervise a specific area across the entire process chain in commodity sourcing, quality control, packaging, storage & transportation. The various departments also ensure all fiscal transactions and procedures, from the supplier through to the end-user, are professional, prompt and efficient.
Best farming practices are shared with our farmers to ensure yield consistency of high quality crops with samples randomly selected and analyzed for quality by laboratories to ensure they meet the international specifications and guidelines for commodities export.
