- Lallans Group stepped into the food industry, where the fruits and vegetable processing factory was set up in 1999. The aim of establishing KC Marketing Services was to increase the group's stability and also in turn help the rural farmers and the unemployed.
With the help of same KC Marketing Services was able to stabilize farm gate prices for agriculture products and to create employment opportunities for both local uneducated and well educated graduates of Peradeniya University. KC Marketing Services employees passed out graduates from Peradeniya University of Sri Lanka as factory managers and quality controllers.
KC Marketing Services processes fruit and vegetable products which have brand name of Rime and distributed by K.C. marketing services.
