Historic: Val foods started in food business more than 30 years ago, in the agriculture sector (planting,selection and distribution of fresh fruit)
With the increase in the fruit volume it arrived to an enough quantity for a new commercial horizon: Val foods Agro Industry
Techinical information: Val`s main product is the guava, cultivated in a 400 hectares area, following the recommendation of the brazilian agricultural ministry.
The productive capacity is around 30 thousand tons/year

Save food program: In the farming, since the soil preparation until the harvest, all process is focused on safe food programs, like P.I.F. (Production Integreted of Fruit). The agroindustry activies are developed with teh program warranty GMP (Good Manufacturing Practicies) and HACCP (Hazard analysis and control critical points). These programs, recognized internationally, guarantee superior quality of in natura products and in the pulps. This mean safety, of the processing to the final consumer.
