- Consolidated Business Systems Ltd, (CBS) founded by Mr Shanthi Wijesinghe has been a company in the field of agricultural export since 1979. Having first started with the export of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables to the Middle East, CBS has now diversified extensively exporting under the brand name 'SunIsland', spices, curry powders and pastes, chutneys and pickles, ethnic foods, coconuts and coconut based products aswell as rice and rice based products.
CBS also exports black tea and green tea of various types and packaging including constanta teabags and tagless teabags.
Our IQF frozen manufacturing plant was the latest development, and we have already captured many markets in Australia, USA, the middle East and Europe with our frozen food range. Not only do we do frozen vegetables, we also pack frozen tapioca, fruit pulps, party foods and savoury foods, many types of Buriyani rice packs, flat breads and even king coconut water.
