- Costa Rica Gourmet Foods is synonymous of Delicatessen products. We are an Import-Export Family Company who posseses, from an exclusive client portfolio, a Strategic Alliance with the# 1 producer of Chicken in Costa Rica, which is equipped with the highest technology for poultry production. Our producer is ISO9000 ISO14000 certified and has all the permits for operating nationally and internationally. (quality management-low environmental impact system standards)
Hopefully, for early time next year we may also provide Beef and Pork.
We are a proud member of the No Smog Companies Group, we have our own Sewage Treatment Plant, all farm waste is produced into fertilizer, our packaging is 100% recyclable and much more.
The same Chicken that we will export is the one we supply in our country to different restaurants such as Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonald's (nuggets) , Burger King and Pizza Hut; all well known Western Hemisphere Companies.
Right now we have the capacity to provide Chicken wing tip and chicken drumette. It's packed on bags of 5kg and these bags are packed on cardboard boxes of 20 KG. It is shipped frozen in an average temperature of-15C and with all the permits of the Ministry of Agriculture and Living Stock of Costa Rica, license MS3006. The average size of the drumette is approximately 5-6 cm and the average weight of the bird alive is 2. 1 KG. Origin: Costa Rica. Assigned number given to our plant by the Ministry of Agriculture of Costa Rica for exporting is number 30. Our Capacity is approximately 4 FCL per month, all year long
