HISTORY
Odoksan is a member of Elginkan Group. Factory is located in Osmaneli district 30 km far from Bilecik city center. The head office is located in Istanbul. Odoksan was established in 1973 to make production of cast iron products. Main products are cast iron bath tubs, radiators, sinks, boiler sections, stove parts and automotive parts.
Factory is based on 103. 000 m2 open and 29. 000 m2 covered area. With its melting furnaces, moulding and casting lines, sand preparation units, core making shops, shot blasting units, assembling, enamel preparation and enameling units, Odoksan is an advanced integrated plant. Production of cast iron radiators has been started in 1976 with a production capacity of 1250 tons / year (approximately 50. 000m2) and in 1982, additionally, cast iron bath tub line has been engaged Recently melting capacity has been increased to 50. 000 tons / year.
Yearly production capacities are 1. 000. 000 m2 for cast iron radiators, 150. 000 pieces of cast iron bath tubs and 8. 000 tons of other cast iron parts. Nearly 450 people are employed at Odoksan.
Beside the main production activities, it is possible to produce flywheels, pulleys, brake discs, brake rods for automotive sector. Gray cast iron composition types are GJL-150, GJL-200, GJL-250
Our purpose is to produce higher quality products with lower possible costs in fastest and reliable manner with highly qualified personel, modern equipments like PLC controlled hydraulic-squeeze moulding lines and the principle of continiously adapting new technologies to existing system.
In our plant, with existing high tech machines and automation systems, it's also possible to make complementary processes such as machining, which is necessary to get the final products. As well as high share in domestic market, large numbers of cast iron radiators, bath tubs and some other cast iron parts are exported to the countries like Russia, Egypt, Italy, Tunisia, Ukraine, Jordan, Greece, Spain and others.
