This company was established under the name of Sumber Jaya in the Republic of Indonesia. The company operates in a rattan and wood manufacture. This company started commercial activities in 1965.
Sumber Jaya is an Indonesian domicilied company with its office and factory located in the center of the famous rattan and wooden furniture of Trangsan Sukoharjo Central Java Indonesia, the largest exporter of rattan furniture, banana furniture, water hyacinth furniture, seagrass furniture and wood furniture.
We currently export to customers in the Rusia, USA, UK, Europe, Australia and Asia.
The Sumber Jaya's success story began when Mr. Wahyono left his rice field-as a traditional farmer-in 1965 turned to rattan business as a craft man. He started his business by making basket, rack and set of furniture for local market. In 1975 his business was run well because of qualities and good design.
The philosophy as the key of the success is honesty.
Because his dependability bring him to advantages, in 1985 a big rattan raw material supplier asked him to cooperate and to be a rattan dealer for Solo and Yogyakarta area up to now.
In 1986 Mr. Wahyono finished his trainee program for design and quality. He started to penetrate export oriented market carefully and for the first step is join to an exporter as sub-supplier for rattan furniture for 10 years.
When export booming era came in 1990's, he have enough experiences in supplying export oriented furniture and decided to export by his owned company. To enlarge production capacity he developed a cooperative method with surrounding craft man by supplying them the raw material for his orders. This cooperative methods are solid and give advantage for each others and run well up to now.
