- Rolex Oil Mills are the manufacturers of premium quality coconut oil and coconut oil cake. The most popular brands of Rolex Oil Mills is the "Rolex" and "Clear" coconut oil, which has been used all over India. Apart from manufacturing coconut oil, Rolex Oil Mills also pack and market palm oil in the brand name "Malaysian Drops".
Established in 1970s, the plant today has a production capacity of 6000 tons of coconut oil per annum. The basic raw material used is the sun dried copra and is procured from the malabar region after testing it as per standards laid out by the firm. The advantages of using coconut oil are well known. Coconut oil is plenty in lauric acid, which has anti-viral, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Studies have been done on its effect in lowering the viral load of hiv / aids patients.
